1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Skybelle Foundation website at skybellefoundation.org (“Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use this Site. These terms apply to all visitors, fire chiefs, donors, and others who access or use the Site.
2. About the Skybelle Foundation
The Skybelle Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening volunteer fire departments by funding EMT training rewards for volunteer firefighters. Our program pays $2,500 directly to EMT-certified volunteer firefighters who remain active for two years after certification submission.
Nothing on this Site constitutes a binding commitment to make any payout until all program eligibility requirements have been verified and approved by the Foundation.
3. Fire Chief Portal — Program Participation
By registering as a fire chief and submitting firefighter information through the Chief Portal, you agree to the following:
- All information submitted is accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge
- You are authorized to submit personal information on behalf of the firefighters listed
- You will promptly notify the Foundation of any changes to a firefighter’s active service status
- Submission of false or misleading information may result in disqualification from the program and potential legal liability
- The Foundation reserves the right to verify all submitted certifications and service records
- Payout eligibility is determined solely by the Foundation based on program requirements, which may be updated from time to time
4. Donations
All donations made to the Skybelle Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. The Foundation is committed to using donations in furtherance of its mission to reward EMT-certified volunteer firefighters.
The Skybelle Foundation is not currently a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Please consult a tax advisor regarding the deductibility of any contributions. We will update this notice when tax-exempt status is obtained.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of the Skybelle Foundation or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without our express written permission.
The Skybelle® name and logo are registered trademarks. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Violate any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site
- Harass, abuse, or harm another person
- Upload or transmit viruses or any other malicious code
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Skybelle Foundation does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Skybelle Foundation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its services, even if the Foundation has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites including theskybelle.com and payment processors. These links are provided for convenience only. The Skybelle Foundation has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lincoln County, North Carolina.
11. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
